Mitigating the UAV Challenges
One recent focus of PicoVisa Innovation is the development of effective techniques for mitigating the UAV related challenges.
The rapid increasing use of small UAVs makes them a growing concern for public safety and security. The detection, tracking, and classification of small UAVs using traditional radar systems is an extremely challenging task due to the small RCS and LSS features of the targets. Moreover, the potentially complex operating environment, e.g. surrounding building/trees, introduces significant number of reflected echoes, which will interfere the target detection process.
To address these UAV related security challenges, PicoVista Innovation is developing advanced electronic countermeasures by leveraging recent technological advancements in 5G, antenna array, MIMO and machine learning for highly acuurate and energy efficient solutions.
